Back in April, we set a Guinness World Record with over 280,000 participants for Kaggle’s 5-Day GenAI Intensive Course with Google. You'd think that would be the pinnacle of interest, but nope — the excitement was just getting warmed up! Our partnership with Kaggle for the 5-Day AI Agents Intensive Course soared to new heights, drawing in an unbelievable 1.5 million learners from across the globe. It’s clear the developer community is more than willing to dive into the future of AI.
Diving into the Course Content
This intensive course built upon the solid groundwork laid in our previous GenAI program, digging into the nitty-gritty of how AI agents really function. Participants explored the intricate mechanics of these agents, uncovering their advantages while also spotlighting the hurdles developers encounter when crafting and deploying these cutting-edge technologies in real-life scenarios.
Our learners gained invaluable insights from a stellar lineup of expert speakers, including some of Google’s leaders and pioneers from companies like Cohere, Reified, and NVIDIA. The sessions were packed with real-world applications, architectural decisions, and best practices tailored to empower participants with practical skills — skills they could apply to their own projects immediately.
If you missed out on the intensity back in November, no worries! All the coursework has been neatly packaged into a comprehensive Kaggle Learn Guide, so you can still jump right in.
The Thriving Community
The energy and enthusiasm bubbling from the Kaggle community were nothing short of contagious! Throughout the course, learners didn’t just sit quietly; they connected, collaborated, and exchanged ideas on a scale we’ve rarely seen:
- Over 160,000 learners actively engaged on Kaggle’s Discord
- A jaw-dropping 2 million views on the course whitepapers, reflecting a serious interest in theoretical perspectives
- An impressive 3.3 million views on course notebooks, demonstrating a robust demand for hands-on technical knowledge
The Capstone Projects
The capstone projects were the cherry on top, fusing the coursework with actionable insights on a global scale. We were flooded with over 11,000 submissions, a lot from collaborative teams that formed during the course to bring their groundbreaking ideas to life.
The projects showcased not just creativity, but also a high level of technical expertise and visionary thinking from the global AI community. With everything from practical agent-based workflows to complex multi-agent systems, the sheer variety made picking just a few top contenders a tough challenge. Want to see what the buzz is all about? Explore all the winning teams and their impressive capstone projects here.
Looking Ahead
So, whether you jumped into a capstone project or just soaked up the sessions from the sidelines, your contributions were instrumental in making this course a resounding success. Learning alongside such a spirited and dedicated community was truly motivating.
We’re already buzzing with excitement about the idea of another intensive in collaboration with Google, set for 2026. But until then, keep sharpening your skills by joining ongoing Kaggle competitions and stay connected with your fellow learners on the Kaggle Discord. And if you missed the action in November but want to catch up on all the essential content, it’s now available in the Kaggle Learn guide.
